Well, it’s still cold, wet and horrible here in the UK. We’re also having some work done to our house so it’s noisy and dusty and we’re living in a state of self induced mayhem at the moment but it’s not all bad! Contrary to all reason I’ve managed to make serious progress on two books. I don’t quite know how to be honest but I’m certainly not going to question it.
The first book I’ve been working on has no title at the moment but I can tell you that it’s the second book in the Adventures of Larry the Stick Insect series. This is actually the third incarnation of the manuscript, I just wasn’t happy with the work I’d previously done, so I scrapped it and started again. I’m much happier with it now. So with a bit of luck a new Larry story will be available by the end of the year.
The second book I’ve been working on and to be honest, the one I’ve made slightly more progress on, is Concrete Hell. This book is another story in the Jackson Silver GFC series and is set several years earlier in Jackson’s timeline to Bar Room Blitz. This one is shaping up to be quite an action fest and I have to say I’m having a blast writing it. If the writing Gods are smiling down on me I hope to release this one by the end of the year too. Perhaps we could invent a new calendar which has ten days instead of seven with each day lasting forty hours, imagine how much everybody would get done, it’d be great……..if only eh!
That’s all for now. Back to my writing.
